Envy

In gossamer sheets,

for more she weeps,

an angel foretold,

wanders in her abode,

and all he has,

is everything she wants.

Everlasting famine,

a life of hunger.

Long has it ate,

on living or dead,

"Come to me," it spoke.

"You’re my daily bread."

The waters of rage,

are eager to drown,

look below - no never!

look up - and never down,

for the red eye is there

and you are peace.
